Overview

The Robert E. Andrews Virtual Law Library supports the needs of Hall County as well as County employees, Bar Associations of Hall County, Hall County litigants and the general public.  With the Law Library being funded by court filing fees, it is supported by the legal/court system as part of the community for their use. The primary function of the Law Library is for public use for the purpose of legal research. The Law Library has computer research capabilities using Westlaw as well as LexisNexis for your legal research needs. The Law Librarian provides assistance in finding appropriate materials and suggesting possible resources but may not give advice or interpretation about specific legal situations which might constitute the unauthorized practice of law. The collection covers Georgia and Federal law and case law from other states.

The Robert B. Thompson Law Library serves citizens and patrons living and working in the Dawson County area. The Dawson County Law Library supplies many of the same information sources as the Robert E Andrews Library, but it does not have a full-time, dedicated staff member.
